Bukkha, originally from Lafayette in Lousiana, has been focused on making music ever since he could remember. He quickly mastered the guitar and turned to dub production thanks to music from Scientist, Luke Vibert, Madlib, and Billie Holiday.

His first signing came in 2007, the same year he first dabbled with dub production, with 12″ release of Dubbed Out featuring a remix from Radikal Guru. Following this, Bukkha turned in remixes for Roommate, Radikal Guru, Tuff & Powa, Danny Scrilla, and Jojo Mac. During the same time he came to represent and associate himself with the Gulf Coast dub and bass scene. In 2015 he relocated to Spain.

After a series of behind-the-scenes remixes and dubplates, Bukkha debuts on Dub-Stuy with the Guns N Fiyah 12″ featuring Brazil’s Junior Dread and a remix from Paris’ Moresounds.
